  1. Ramirez looks like the NEW Shammy. ALWAYS swinging for the fences
  2. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:22 PM) Curveballs to Garland. Pretty pathetic he has to throw those to our pitcher. I guess his fastball aint good enough
  3. Jon looks like Serrano up there swinging at those curves
  4. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:16 PM) Uh, remember when Sean Marshall was terrible? He's still going to give up a few more before this one is over
  5. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:12 PM) You wonder how a man who pitched in the allstar game, who pitched on the biggest stage in baseball in the playoffs and in the world series, suddenly decides that he lost confidence in his stuff and then nibbles. The sad thing is, the stuff is there. What is missing is between his ears. If he can ever get confidence in his stuff and throw strikes he will be fine. I agree he will be fine, he just doesnt have it right now. His changeup isnt as good as it was last year, he cant command his slider, and his sinker has been up. But I'm still VERY confident he will put it together in the 2nd half........................I hope.
  6. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:08 PM) Let's see if Jon found his sack. The guy has pitched a lot of Big games for us and pitched well. Right now he cant Command s***
  7. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:06 PM) Glad we answered back there. Gonna need a whole lot of runs to win this one. JG looked as bad as he could be in that 1st inning, and still only gave up 2 runs. If he can just throw more strikes we should win this thing
  8. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:03 PM) And I don't care how many runs Garland allows as long as it's one run less than we've scored. Agreed! I have feeling Marshall isnt long for this game
  9. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:02 PM) Pods looks at a lot of first pitch strikes. Thats his job as a leadoff hitter
  10. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 11:59 AM) You wouldn't think the Cubs are one of the worst offenses in baseball by watching Garland pitch. I believe they put up 9 runs against Sabathia last week, so anything is possible
  11. HUUUUUGE out there! Lets keep scoring boys, because were going to need em
  12. That sucked, Great pitch by JG and what do you know, blooper base hit
