  1. Juan killed that ball! And the funny thing is he hesitated at second thinking perhaps it was a double. Means he wasnt hotdogging and watching the ball, he just put his head down and ran. WTG JUAN!
  2. Booyah! Everyone doubting Damaso, and he comes through. Thats what Im talkin about!
  3. Never said I would. But Id be in there and Id be swinging. If it were Pedro, Id be a little like the kid in Rookie of the Year.
  4. If you gave me a helmet and a bat, and told me to face Garland, I wouldnt be scared. Id jump right in there. On the other hand, if you told me to face Pedro, Id tell you to get lost. Pedro is intimidating, Garland is not. Maybe its because Pedro will throw at anyone and be all ready for the fight. I like that. You dont hit a teammate of Pedro because he will get you. If Garland was pitching, they could peg Everett and PK in a row and Jon would still do nothing. Everett might whoop the pitchers ass, but on wouldnt do a thing. He is timid. Pedro lets everyone know whos in charge. Jon doesnt do that.
  5. Go over to mlb.com and search for elcapitan35's posts. Or just be cool and take my word for it. I never wrote anything of the sort.
  6. We can definitely sweep KC. That would be sweet! Not to mention the magic number would be down to 14 at the most.
  7. BMac is incredible. If we let him get away, someone ought to lose their job.
  8. Contreras is great. Keep him in the rotation and Cotts in the pen. And another forgotten one who has caught the eye of the tiger. Luis Vizcaino!
  9. Garland pitches like a coward (look guys, I was careful how I said it! ). Watch Pedro pitch. He attacks hitters. He could have faced Babe Ruth without even flinching. And he would have come right at him. He doesnt back down for anyone. Garland is scared of the hitters. He will never be a great if he doesnt gain courage. As for Ozzie, he was here last year and we stunk. Its the new guys who made us good. We are winning in spite of Ozzie. All he does is bring bad publicity with his goofy jokes. And, McCarthy, all I can say is damn. He will be on my favorites list shortly if he keeps this up. 14 straight innings without allowing a run, but unlike Garland who did his scoreless streak against Detroit and Oakland (when they stunk), BMac has done it against Boston and Texas, the two best offenses around. BMac is an aggressive pitcher, and he will soon be better than Garland could ever hope to be. Ace in the making, and a completely different pitcher than he was earlier. This kid aint scared of nothin'.
  10. Ill give you that one. But he doesnt make all the stupid mistakes that Caballo does. I swear I remember him getting picked off in scoring position in the ninth inning atleast twice. When Carlos got on late in the game, it just made me cringe.
  11. Exactly. Juan had a reason to be out there, unlike Pods.
  12. Thats not true. Most likely, that honor belongs to Carlos Lee.
  13. Damn it! Im not going to rip on Juan, but that stunk. Well, atleast he wasnt out by a mile like Pods was. And Pods almost got picked off again. What a fool, doesnt he learn?
