I agree. Big innings come along but usually in the middle or late part of the game. In the early innings, you have to play smallball and score when you can. Besides, playing smallball gets the players pumped and thinking "Scoring runs like this is easy. Imagine what I can do if I hit!" And that gives players the drive to have those big innings. I have no problem with the sacrafice flys and bunts.
