  1. I live in Fort Myers, where the Twins have spring training. The local newspaper's website occasionally has a banner ad for Twins spring training tickets. The ad, displayed below notes that the Twins are back to back to back American League Central Division Champions. It does have the numbers 02 03 and 04 listed, but they are in about 6 point font, whereas the word Champions is in about 24 point font. Is this deceptive advertising or is it just me? Yes they won the division 3 times in a row, but they are not the reigning champions of the division. Do the Buffalo Bills market themselves as back to back to back to back AFC Champions in their ads? I doubt it. Am I overreacting on this? What's your opinion.
  2. My first words were "Ooh, he looked safe at first." Followed by jumping around and fist pumping.
  3. Fort Myers, FL--Considering I still don't have electricity since Hurricane Wilma hit Monday, I'll be spending a 2nd straight night at my brother-in-law's townhouse (which has electricity) to commandeer his big screen tv to watch the game. If the Sox win, I will then watch WGN until their coverage of the title is complete. I will then attempt to drive home without being arrested for violating the 9pm post-hurricane curfew we have in effect. Common sense dictates that no alcohol will be involved in this scenario. If I miraculously get electricity back tonight, I will watch the game at home, as I can then watch both WGN and the Comcast Chicago post game coverage with my DirecTV after the game, and not have to worry about violating curfew. Plenty of beer drinking will be involved in this scenario.
  4. It's gone from bad to worse for me. Not only was I unable to get tix for game 6 or 7 (had the exact same problems everyone else did), but now there's a hurricane that may hit where I live (Fort Myers) on Saturday night, so I may lose power and not be able to watch game 1 or 2. I think I may have to evacuate to Orlando or however far north it takes to get a hotel room with electricity where I can watch the Sox game on Saturday and not worry about Hurricane Wilma preventing me from watching the Sox.
  5. Mr. Skin is a die hard Sox fan. If you don't know who he is, you're missing out on a great resource. He has a website that lists any actress that has ever been naked in a movie, and lists the movies, how long into the movies the nude scene appears, etc. I don't think anyone knows what he looks like, but I know he's a big Sox fan.
