  1. QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Aug 12, 2006 -> 03:52 PM) So who would you have given the player of the game too then? Im' just curious. Brian Anderson for his key 2 out hit to tie the game and a couple of fine catches in Center that he makes look easy. Rogers pitched a fine game but didn't have it when he needed it. Anderson came through in the clutch.
  2. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Aug 12, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) You just killed my buzz. That was all Uribe. Farmer is an idiot if he blamed it on PK. The Fox Announcers gave the "Player of the Game" to Kenny Rogers because all of Sox runs were unearned. That may be true, But the error by Carlos Guillen only extended the inning. Rogers gave up both key 2 out hits by Uribe and Anderson to tie the game. Whose fault was that? Anderson's average with runners in scoring position is only .146. That is a poor job of pitching by Rogers and he deserved the loss. Uribe had a small problem with the relay to PK but was not charged with an error because an out was recorded on the play. So one could say that the runs off Buerhle were unearned, but not officially.

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 08:14 PM) Okay -- I just got a new HP laptop with an AMD Turion Processor. Problem is, I don't know how to get the internet working. I'm not very technologically intelligent, but I know that I'm trying to run it from my modem (which runs through a router) to my laptop. I checked my Network Connections, and my Local Area Connection has a red 'X' through it, telling me that the network cable is unplugged. I'm also not sure which cable to use, and where it goes. I have two different spots where I could put it in; the RJ-45 (network) Jack, which is what my desktop computer uses (it's the larger, male cord), or the RJ-11 (modem) Jack, which is the smaller, male cord. Anybody have any ideas/suggestions? I just want to use Internet Explorer, too, btw, without having to sign-up for AOL/Netscape etc etc. If your laptop has wireless installed (most new laptops do) and you have a wireless router it will pick it up. If your router is not wireless you will need an RJ-45 cable and install it the same way you installed it on the desktop. That probably means running the software that came with the router. The RJ-11 is for dialup internet and you will need the software for an ISP such as Netzero, AOL, Netscape, etc.
