  1. I don't believe it. Why would they have submitted an unchangeable roster to MLB before they know who we are playing? I do believe the Score got hosed.
  2. From Telander...............hmmmmm Sosa went away so quietly when McClelland banished him from the game that he made Brett's tantrum in 1983 look like the act of an insane man. Or an innocent man. Or a man with a clear conscience http://www.suntimes.com/output/telander/cs...spt-rick04.html
  3. I'm not so sure about that anymore. Oh my!
  4. Every so often you get the player who comes up from AAA and actually hits better than in the minors because the pitching is better. These are the guys who swing at everything and because there is more in and around the plate they actually do better in the ML. Dare we hope this will be the case with Mr. Borchard??
  5. Hmmmm.... I could've sworn there was a topic started by Mr. JohnJeter right before yours Hunnie. I wonder where that went.
  6. Still interesting - thanks for posting it, I probably would never have seen it. What's the saying, "Stay away from anything that even gives the hint of impropriety." At the least the Cubs are guilty of violating that little business/life advice.
