  1. With all due respect, I think you are mistaken.

The current administration in Israel, along with the majority of Israelis, are very much accepting of a "two-state solution". The y would love to live in peaceful co-existance withe the "palis", and this is evidenced by their "land for peace" concessions.

However, it is also obvious that the PA, Syria, Iran, etc., want nothing to do with a "two-state solution"; they ONLY want the destruction of Israel.

So, don't try to make out the "palis" as victims of Israel; they may be victims, but if so, they are victims of their own "leadership" and of the neighboring Arab countries as well.

whoa, im sorry if i came off that way. im not trying to make palis victims at all. i realize that they, not israel are the ones using the suicide bombs and all that. i was only pointing out that israel hates palestinians too (both sides have good reasons at this point to hate each other, i think). sorry if i came off the wrong way.

  2. I thought we were in Iraq to set up a democracy.  Democracy isn't about beating and torturing prisoners of war (which I am not claiming happened in this case).  So if it's cool for us to do things like this then we seem like hypocrites in Iraq where we expect them to set up a civilized democracy.

You claim to be anti-communist (in your avatar) but you are all for Communist tactics.

we are setting up a democracy- it has been set up. we should let the iraqi gov't do whatever it wants now.

we arent torturing saddam, the iraqi government is, and they should, too, because that piece of s*** deserves it. liberals are always complaining about us running that country when the iraqis should be, like it is a puppet gov't. and now you want us to step into this trial? you cant have it both ways, man, make a choice. dont b**** unless you have a solution.

let me go out on a limb- you're solution has three phases:

    1. cut

    2. run

    3. place tail between legs for all the world to see

  3. I think the Presidential approval polls like this are more a reflection on how Americans are thinking about the country than the President. Plus, this is kind of the lull in the two term  President.

I will make a bold prediction that Bush will surge over the next couple years and will peak at 60-65% at some point.

Right now his supporters are still there.

    good point.

  4. Hillary would KILL on the coasts and midwest.  She'd get tore up in the south... but the coasts and midwest is enough to get her elected.

If you watch the media - and some actions of things going on in Congress, they are kissing her ass left and right.  And she's done her best to be appealing to the "moderates" - Independants who are swing votes.

once again, what you are saying is completely contrary to what recent history has proven. Hillary would kill in the midwest?? if by kill, you mean win wisconson and MI, and lose all other midwest states, then yes, she will kill in the midwest. OH has a lot of electoral votes, as the last election proved (the whole claim about voter fraud was sore losers, and i dont blame them, but OH is a red state). and the midwest piles up votes.

SOURCE??? you have absolutely no grounds to claim that hillary, or any democrat, will sweep out the midwest. I dont have one for what i say either, but the last election backs me up. you tell me when the last time a democrat cleaned up in the midwest. probably during the vietnam war is my guess.

  5. Walid Shoebat Foundation.

An organization that cries out for the Justice of Israel and the Jewish people.

Quotes taken from page 21 of Walid's new Book, Why I left Jihad:

"The Holocaust never ended but the victims have decided to defend themselves”

“The occupation is in the minds of Children who are taught hatred.”

“Israel was the solution for the world’s greatest refugee problem that went on for two thousand years”

“Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?”

“When I finally realized the lies and myths I was taught, it is my duty as a righteous person to speak out”

“The Israeli Arab Conflict is not about geography but about Jew hatred; Throughout the Islamic as well as Christendom's history Jews have been persecuted, the persecution of Israel is just the same as the old antisemitism.”

“The Arab refugees are being used as pawns' to create a terror breeding ground, as a form of aggression against Israel”

“The Arab refugee problem was caused by Arab aggression and not Israel. Why should Israel be responsible for their fate?”

"No one (Arab or Jew) has a "right of return". Jews who fled Arab persecution from 1948 to 1956 should have no right of return to Arab lands, and Arabs who ran away in 1948 and 1967 should have no right of return either. This should end all argument. Yet the Jews accept this judgment, while the Arabs reject EVERYTHING."

some valid points you have there. however, the israelis are not as passive and rosy as you make them seem. both sides have a deep hatred for each other. the only difference is that israel has a democratic society that is so sick of the violence they are willing to do just about anything to stop it, as opposed to the palestinians, who are dirt poor and have nothing to lose and under no circumstances will ever want peace (especially when we have bastards like the current iranian president around goading palestine on).

what can you do? i say, bottom line, there is no solution. the conflict will never end. sad but true, and i would love someone to prove me wrong.

  6. Even the Republicans are bowing down and kissing her ass already.  She's as good as elected right now, unless something REALLY changes.

uh, what republicans do you speak of? SOURCE??? thats what i thought. also, are you seriously calling an election in '08 right now? that's rediculous, no matter which side you are on- thats more than two years from now. i will guarentee that damn near everything is going to REALLY change by the time of the next presidential election.

texsox said it best. if the election were tomorrow, mccain, being a soft republican, would beat anyone else, hands down. if you think that kerry got slammed with the flip-flop (justly deserved, by the way), you aint seen nothing yet for hillary. hillary might win in NY, and even the northeast, but she has got LOTS of work to do in the midwest to win more than one state (MI), and she doesnt stand a chance in the sunbelt (counting FL). she'll get CA, OR, and WA (WA maybe), but shes going to have a damn hard time with the other mountain region states as well. conversely, mccain is from the west, and is widely liked there. he's a war vet who was tortured in the hanoi hilton, which will get him tons of votes over hillary, who was dyking it out at welsely at the time and calling vietnam vets baby-killers. mccain stands a decent chance of grabbing some coveted west coast states (but not CA), and he also has a good chance of grabbing some NE states that lean a little to the right, such as PA.

  7. about f***ing time.

more than that, we need to put in textbooks how jimmy carter was the worst president in this history of this country. what did carter do for us besides a gas shortage and a f***ing-up of a hostage rescue? all we need is another chump in office like him- then the country can collectively grease up and bend over and prepare to get f***ed.

  8. magic johnson is no longer HIV positive...does anyone here know of that? if you can afford it, you can beat it.

problem is, most people with AIDS are junkies and/or degenerates (there are, of course, exceptions) who cant afford the treatment Magic could.

such is life. ce la vie.

  9. of course there is more then is being presented. it was just the needle in a haystack of needles that broke the flood banks. just kind of crazy that it was accually only 2 ounces of wine. just kind of crazy that my mom knows i am an addict and procedes to give me margaritas when we're on the freeway driving to a family christmas party last weekend. just kind of crazy that i tell my parents i cant have any alchlol around the house and they still keep putting wine in the fridge. just kind of crazy that it was on christmas. just kind of crazy that im the definitive and sole bad guy in the situation. just kind of crazy that i didnt want to say anything to them because then it would be me making my problems their fault.

    and i dont want that.

if you are addicted, get some help, see a doctor. please dont even try to say its hard to get help for alcohalism, because its easy. you could even get hypnotized- i personally know two people that worked for. dont complain unless you are willing to help yourself. it's their house, so they can keep whatever they want in the fridge. you have to be willing to help yourself if you want to be helped.

  10. I like Chicago better as a Cub town.  Less Sox fans means better chance I can get a seat whenever I want to.

then you must be praying that we will suck every year. i have some friends who are tigers fans who live in detroit and get seats almost anywhere whenever they want (for cheap), but the tigers blow. take your pick man: either we suck and you get all the tickets you want, or we are good and you cant always.

  11. Now for some others who havent seemed to put it together:

    Scott Ruffcorn

    Scott Eyre

    Joe Borchard

    Aaron Myette

    Josh Fogg

hey now, the last time i went to wrigley with my cousins who are huge cubs fans, i saw fogg (who was with the p-rats) blank the cubs for a 4 hitter and beat prior on the game he came back from that elbow injury. P-rats won 1-0, baby!

i forever love fogg for that day. he's not necessarily someone who didn't pan out (in my book).
