Ah, I thought the Raiders flew out there on Sunday and spent the week getting acclimated to the time difference. My bad
So "jet lag" is an excuse to peddle? England is not Australia here, it really isn't that big of a deal to fly there.

Dallas looks like a team on their 11th keg of beer, but what Green Bay is doing down there is impressive. Packers will soon have two road wins versus Chicago and Dallas. Pretty damn impressive.

They didn't show up. The jetlag seems like an easy excuse, but if you can point to another time that front 7 got absolutely manhandled I would like to see it.
I saw Mack get solo blocked by a fullback for goodness sake.
It's a bad excuse, unless the Raiders took a sailboat they had to fly as well. Whatever the case, last year they began with a loss to Green Bay, then had a terrible loss in Miami and things were looking skeptical. This year seems to be mirroring last year on some level so I'll remain optimistic the team will get it going.
That all said, Green Bay (and even Detroit) is MUCH better than last year.

Because what else would @Moan4Yoan do with his time? Dude was whining about Mitch when the Bears first took the lead after a rough first half.
I know, what's his problem? Look I have issues with the pick, I am not sure he's the answer, but seems to me this week would be Trubisky-less in our complaints given he DID NOT PLAY. It's clear Yoan has an ax to grind, an agenda, and isn't adding to the conversation about why the Bears blew it today.

Jacobs average almost 5 yards per carry on 26 totes, and they had zero sacks, where is the culpability for this vaunted defense? They get their fair share of credit for this crap today. They got manhandled by a medicore football team. Blame Nagy or Mitchell standing around in street clothes, but the defense let this one get away.
-
Why the hell are some still b****ing about Trubisky after this game? Shocking as it is, he had NOTHING to do with this loss.

Cowboys are overrated. Packers look like the much better team so far.
Packers still don't impress me, but if #12 is healthy all year they win this division.

Press clippings don't win anything. Raiders ran all over them in the first half. Reminds me of the Maimi loss last year. In other words, it's a horrible loss and feels like indication the team isn't that great, but they figured it out. The running game is garbage. It's hard to be one dimensional and win, especially when your QB is average at best.

A knock on Maddon is that his clubhouse is TOO relaxed. I'm not saying he needs to be a Billy Martin/Bobby Valentine type who screams at everybody all the time, but sometimes some players need a kick in the pants.
Kaplan was saying the other day that Doug Glanville interviewed for the Rays job after Maddon left, and the interviewer told him "things are WAAAAAY too loose around here."
You're a bunch of lollygaggers.

They traded away Reyes because they already had Renfroe, Myers, Margot, Naylor, Jankowski, Cordero, etc. Now they have Trammell as well.
If Urias and Mejia are for real, they’ll be fine with all that pitching...when it starts to turn the corner.
And Gore is going to be a monster, as long as he stays healthy.
Xavier Edwards is another name in that system to look for. Kid has a Mardigal level hit tool and ++ speed. Also saw interviews with him, what a good kid with a great attitude. He'll be in the bigs one day.

Yeah, but Trubisk........ah nevermind.
😂😂😂
Of course. No way do I want to spoil a good win by complaining about Trubiskey.

With multiple injuries the Bears D doesn't miss a beat. It's FUN to have a good D like this.
-
Huge 2 point kill.
-
LOL, down to one QB so naturally the good move is to have him bootleg.

Makes no sense why he was not dealt at the TDL. NO SENSE at all.

Paulie scooped those in his sleep.
Quit waxing eloquent about the glory days. LOL. If I keep drinking I may head off to watch old reruns of the 2005 run.

Lets see if A-Bum can work out of this.

Season been long over, but a busy day deserves me watching my favorite team. Looks like they are doing well so far.

Monty doing work. Love this kid's vision and fight. Not a burner, but looks like a damn nice back.

pound the rock, razzle dazzle or w/e keep the clock moving... the defensive can't be leaned on this much.
Monty has 6 carries, NOW is the time to run the clock down.

LOL. Redskins will do redskin things. Danny and EJ

Hicks out, knee injury. Not good. Hopefully not too long.
-
Defense looks like shit now. What the hell is going on?

Nagy getting way too cute again. Just run the fucking ball and kill time. You are stopping the clock waaay too much having Trubisky throw the ball.
Running game has been junk again tonight.

Ok, if flying out early is enough to give a team like Oakland that decided advantage to beat the mighty Bears then we got some issues. Team couldn't stop the run, had zero sacks and of course made special teams and offensive gaffs. Whatever the case, this was a shit bag loss like Miami last year, not the end of the world...yet.
