    If you consider the Web Site this was on, and the people who visit that web site and ranked them this should not come as a suprise. FanGraph is big into Sabermetrics and all the advance stats..I do not think I have ever heard Hawk talk about any of that and sometimes he dismisses it all together. Most of the guys in the Top 10 are believers in advance stats.

     

    With that being said I would not miss Hawk if he left tomorrow. I do not mind that he is a Homer, or that he tows the company line, I would just prefer more intelligent conversation during game. I feel bad for Stone, that guy has a ton of insight to offer but has a hard time getting a word in around Hawk and his long pointless stories..or his stupid catch phrases.

    Sweeney is a 4th outfielder at best. And you said that everytime the White Sox get rid of a guy he is an "Allstar" waiting to happen. That is not the case. Would I like to have Gio Gonzalez and Daniel Hudson on this team yes...But besides that the majority of the propects the white sox have traded have not panned out. The Sox did not get the worst farm system by trading a few guys away. Every year team trade prospects but they scout well enough to replace them. The White Sox draft poorly, they scout in Latin america poorly and it has forced the team to overpay MLB players and make trades.

    Yes..please continue. I want to hear about all the all stars Kenny has traded. You have to admit for the most part the prospects the White Sox have traded have not come back to bite us.

    Now if you want to blame Kenny for a bad amatuer scouting staff I will agree. Or if you want to say he has taken on bad contracts, again I will agree. But you can not tell me our minor league system is bad because we have traded away great players who have gone on to be great pros. If anything the best thing Kenny Williams has done is convince other teams that his crappy prospects are worth something.

    What in the world has Dan Hudson done to garner this much love? 1 good start this year..a few decent starts when it did not matter last year? Edwin Jackson won in Tampa and Detroit, has a plus fastball and is only 26. I think we need to give Kenny the benefit of the doubt, he seems to do a pretty good job of trading our overrated players for plus players.
