They can extend him down the line like they did with Sale and Quintana. I’m not sure he is the type of player that will break the bank in arbitration so there is less risk then a Robert or Jimenez and even if he gets to FA he won’t command top dollar

Is Snell available or is this speculation, his deal seems like the type the Rays would hold on to for at least 3 years

If you consider the Web Site this was on, and the people who visit that web site and ranked them this should not come as a suprise. FanGraph is big into Sabermetrics and all the advance stats..I do not think I have ever heard Hawk talk about any of that and sometimes he dismisses it all together. Most of the guys in the Top 10 are believers in advance stats. With that being said I would not miss Hawk if he left tomorrow. I do not mind that he is a Homer, or that he tows the company line, I would just prefer more intelligent conversation during game. I feel bad for Stone, that guy has a ton of insight to offer but has a hard time getting a word in around Hawk and his long pointless stories..or his stupid catch phrases.

What in the world has Dan Hudson done to garner this much love? 1 good start this year..a few decent starts when it did not matter last year? Edwin Jackson won in Tampa and Detroit, has a plus fastball and is only 26. I think we need to give Kenny the benefit of the doubt, he seems to do a pretty good job of trading our overrated players for plus players.

I think I am missing something..Why does everyone love this guy? He strikes out a ton, low avg. low OBP, granted he has a good glove but so does Rios. Seems like the type of guy this board would complain about!
