My name is Jim and I grew up mainly on the south side of Chicago. Was born in good ol Mexico but went to grammar/high school on the South Side. Right before I joined the military (Army) lived on the "East Side" near the Indiana border. Took in a few Sox games as a teenager. Been following them on and off for most of my adult life but got the passion back after the miracle 2005 season. This sason has been painful but hey what the heck? I have lived in Euope now since 85 in the Army and now as a civilian working in Gibraltar and livin in Southern Spain. The weather is great (Fantastic really) with high 60´s and low 70´s and sun in the winter months. I watch most of my games via MLB.COM where I have a yearly subsciption and just this year I have gotten interested in following the Sox farm system (A-AAA). I hope to meet many fellow Sox fans and maybe even friends here. I fly once a year to the States to see the family who now live in Cicero in the West burbs. Well that is about it.
