  1. Thanks for the responses. I did find the Intimidators' website and did find out that the Williams' are father and son. I also saw where in the next game, Jr. had a 3 for 4 outing. But he is still hitting about .235. It is hard to make judgements at this level. A few years ago, the Sox had their high A Carolina League team playing in Woodbridge, VA, about a half hour drive from where I work. During those two years, the team had hitters hitting over .300, and was one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the league. But only two players from those teams made it to the majors. One was Mags Ordonez, who at the high A level also hit around .235, as I recall. I hardly noticed him while he was here.
  2. The other night I saw the Kannapolis club take a double-header at Hagerstown. In game 2, their DH was Kenny Williams. Does anyone know if he is related to the Sox' GM? (This Williams went 0 for 3, striking out each time.)
