Not going to happen. Bora$ is his agent, which means he automatically goes out into the free agent market this winter. And Jerry Reinsdorf-owned teams do not negotiate with high-priced Bora$ free agents.

I was just thinking the same thing. Bunt in the 1st with a runner like Pierre at first and a lousy bunter in Alexei, but don't bunt now with an excellent bunter like Omar and with a slow runner like A.J. on at first. Hmmmmm, indeed!

Small series, # of games-wise, but big series in terms of outcome. You lose these two, yer 12 out. You win 'em both, yer 8 out. That is a big, four game difference right there, not only in the standings, but in the state of mind for everyone involved. A rather good two weeks under our belts now, so hopefully we are slowly but surely on our way to bigger and better things!

Danks obviously didn't have his best stuff tonight - not by a long shot! - but the fact he even got a sniff of the 7th inning after those first two innings is somewhat remarkable.
