The problem ain't danks, he needs to be DFA and released immediately, but he is definitely not the problem. The problem is this garbage lineup that is supposedly our starting lineup. Conor is not a serviceable player at 3B, Sanchez is not ready for the big leagues (his bat) and in his career flowers is batting like .210, and the big names are all way underachieving. Sox should have 3-4 runs by now off this AAA pitcher. But not with these players. If you can't score 4 runs in the majors your not gonna win many games

2nd time through the order begins this inning. Hopefully our bats will take advantage of his fastball and put some runs on the board

John Danks vs Matt Andriese Not sure what to think of this pitching matchup. Danks has been more of a mystery then I would have thought at the beginning of the year. Danks has been able to put together some rather nice outings, including his complete game he pitched earlier in the year. He has also had games where everyone wanted to throw him to the curb with every pitch he made. So I guess we really don't know what we are gonna get from him tonight until he steps out on the mound in Tampa. Andriese was recalled from AAA to replace Odorizzi whom the Rays placed on the DL. The Sox bats exploded with 3 HRs in their final game of the home stand on Wednesday night. Hopefully they can bring that pop to the dome in Tampa. It should be a great serious for the Sox as they look to extend their winning streak on this 5 game road trip. GO SOX!!!! Make sure to get your HR picks in before the first pitch of tonight game. Vincent Velasquez vs Jose Quintana Not sure how today's game will play out. Velasquez is making his major league debut having never pitched above AA. He is reported to have triple digit heat witch will definitely be fun to watch from a baseball fan perspective. However, as a Sox fan it will be frustrating if Velasquez can maintain control of his fastball and pitch strikes. The Sox will need to be very patient and let this kid throw some balls and get behind in the count. Quintana has pitched better as of late and will need another solid performance tonight vs a tough Houston lineup. Our offense has looked better since RV changed the lineup and flipped Alexei and Melky in the batting order. The problem with the lineup has been 7-9 in the batting order. Flowers is horrible and only getting worse, Sanchez has been even worse then flowers. At some point they will have to start hitting or Hahn will need to make some moves of his own. Lineups: TBA

Holy s*** flowers is beyond bad

I changed the channel the last 2 abs for flowers and he gets on base both times, it's good but it's bad cause they will let him stay with the Sox even longer
