    I'm more curious on what this will mean for baseball in the long-term. Can a game that was already being perceived as slow and dying, with waning interest from the younger fanbase, really afford to not play for an entire season?

    I love the new Sox draft philosophy. For years it seemed like they took athletes and hoped they could turn them into baseball players. Love to see them target some guys who are pure hitters.
