I read a blurb in the Chicago Tribune the other day that the Sox are going to be continuing their renovations to US Cellular Field over the next few weeks. I don't think the exact plans have been released, but has anyone heard anything?

is this all null and void if Cotts comes up and gets smoked in his debut?

I really want to get 2 lower deck seats for the game tonight. Are their scalpers around the Cell? I know it's illegal, but do they ever bust anyone? Any suggestions?

I've never heard of them selling standing room only...but wouldn't you rather being standing in the outfield then sitting in the upper deck? It kind of stinks that fans holding UD tickets can't walk around the lower concourse anymore. You would not be able to stand in the upperdeck. The concourse is blocked by the stands. You can't see until you get through the tunnel. The Sox don't sell standing room. I never said anything about standing in the upper deck...I know that's not possible. I was talking about standing in the outfield concourse.

Update on tickets : I just checked online Sec. 510 Row 12...we're starting to get into the corner of the upper deck. The place is going to be packed. For the record, I called 40K before the road trip..but I have no proof!

Hopefully the white sox fans will keep the rest of the come-latelys in order. Also on that list, if you catch a HR ball from an opposing player, KEEP THE DAMNED THING! there isn't going to be any HR's from opposing players.....right? Nope, I bought mine over a week ago for half-price. Monday half-price nights...they sell all tickets for half-price. It doesn't matter if you buy them online or at the ticket office..they're half-price. Tuesday half-price nights...you have to buy them the day of the game..and at the ticket window(with a Pepsi product) to get a half-price ticket.

You either love them or you hate them.
