TV alert: Charlotte Knights hosting AAA All Star Game

Featured Replies

For anyone interested in checking out the almost new stadium for the White Sox Triple-A affiliate (Charlotte Knights), tonite MLB Network will be televising live the Triple-A All Star game hosted by Charlotte.

Officially named '2016 Sonic Automotive Triple-A All Star Game presented by Gildan', the telecast on MLB Network begins at 6PM Central tonite (July 13th) and re-airs tomorrow morning (July 14th) at 2AM Central.

The Charlotte stadium, BB&T Ballpark, which opened in 2014, is considered one of the best minor league facilities in the nation. Another White Sox affiliate, the Winston-Salem Dash, also play in a almost new but totally different stadium named 'BB&T Ballpark'.

As far as I can tell, the only member of the Charlotte Knights on tonite's roster will be pitcher Brad Goldberg.

Matt Davidson and Leury Garcia were both named to the team, but both are on the DL. It's just Goldberg.

A friend of mine is the director of video production for the Knights. I'll see if he's doing anything for tonight's game.
