Another interesting note, the White Sox had already seen Hector Santiago fly up their prospect lists after being a pretty low draft pick out of NJ, so they had to at least be aware of him. Laughed a bit at the scout's comparison with Aaron Rowand. We were having a hard enough time finding another Rowand/Crede by then, let alone the best player in the world.
