6:16pm: New York will acquire righty Lance Lynnin the deal, Joel Sherman of the New York Post tweets. Minor-league right-hander Luis Rijo also goes to Minnesota, Heyman tweets.

The Twins will also send some cash in the swap, Sherman reports on Twitter. Lynn is earning $12MM this year, around $4MM of which remains to be paid. The sides will split the paychecks from this point forward, per Heyman, via Twitter.

6:14pm: The Twins and Yankees have agreed to a trade that will send first baseman/outfielder Tyler Austin to Minnesota, per Jon Heyman of Fancred (Twitter link). Other elements of the agreement remain unreported at this time.

Person in charge of Yankees Twitter doesn't sound very excited.
