Q: What is the timeframe for Jake Burger and/or Micker Adolfo to get back on the field this season? -- @pmpfeifer

CG: I recently spoke with Adolfo, who had Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in July. He’s hoping to start throwing in January. He should be all systems go to hit by spring training and will likely start the season as a DH until he can start playing the outfield in May or June. Burger is making progress from his Achilles' injury. He’s expected to start baseball activities in early spring, and could be back in games around June 1.
