Awesome. Having a couple of speed demons in the top of our line-up is what this team needs......unless it's Willie Harris.... :bang.

 

Don't get me wrong I like Willie but I don't think he's ready to be a starter yet.

Great article. I really liked the sound of that. I got a feeling the Sox are gonna go a lot cheaper on offense while spending money on pitching.

 

I do think you'll see them bring in one good middle infielder that can fly to go with Alomar, if he's retained. You may also see a change in centerfield or first base as well. If the Sox are going to go with speed, you have to figure at least two moves will happen, potentially more.

 

Love the fact that it looks more and more likely that Guillen will be hear one way or another. If he comes with Gaston I'm guessing its to groom Guillen a bit more and then Guillen takes over in a few years.
