So, just as another scenario, a potential double iglesias deal!

Jose is not the defensive wizard he was early in his tiger days. But he is now a sometimes good, but very decent offensive player, and still a fine SS.

He is not a switch hitter, but isn’t too bad vs RHP at a 93 wRC+.

Where his offensive productivity vascillates, it’s usually around power, with him getting hits but an aggressive .310ish OBP.

The Angels seem to just be hoping to hide and redirect everything to “Hey look at Shohei!” but their road to the second playoff spot seems impossible, and Iglesias is FA at end of year.

Double up with Rasiel and Jose?
