At first I thought it may be small ball vs. home run but judging by total bases, which I think is a better tool than average (debate?) we ranked 4th and we ranked 4th in ERA.

If you had to point to a performance stat what would it be? I know it's a valid point that we couldn't beat Detroit, why couldn't we beat Detroit. I think once we isolate the couple performance issues we have a better idea of off season priorities. At least that's what I would be doing if I was Kenny and Co.

 

I prefer objective evidence (avg with runners in scoring position) vs subjective (player X was a disturbance in the club house)
