And so we conclude this feature. I hope that all of you enjoyed it and that it brought back some memories for you.

December 30, 2019 – Needed a solid starting pitcher to round out a young promising rotation, the White Sox continued their aggressive off season by signing former Cy Young award winner Dallas Keuchel to a three year, $55.5-million-dollar deal.

The agreement also included a vesting option for a fourth season.

He helped the Astros win the 2017 World Series and pitched in 12 post season games before coming to the South Side. 

He’d have a terrific pandemic shortened season in 2020 going 6-2 with a 1.99 ERA in 11 games before regressing badly in 2021 and being released before the All-Star break in 2022. He was picked up by the Diamondbacks and released, then claimed by the Rangers…and released... then in 2022 he was claimed by the Twins where he appeared in 10 games for them.
