December 5, 200322 yr Will the Sox eliminate the option of trading Magglio Ordonez, if Konerko leaves? We would be giving up Konerko's 8 million and gaining Perez's 3-4 million. I hope this goes through, we re-sign Bartolo and keep Maggs, the division would be ours.

There's a good chance he'll do nothing good again next year and will make $6.5 mill or so. As a real life example, would you want to give up $60 bucks if you get nothing in return? It's like paying $60 bucks for a nosebleed seat anywhere when there are other better seats for $15 bucks.
