Is anyone sold on Dodgers?

Featured Replies

If the trade goes through, it looks as though Nomar doesn't want to play here, which leaves the possiblity to trade him to the Dodgers. I am really not sold on Perez and Mota. Perez is a guy that seems like he's always be around 10-10 with a 4.00 ERA and as far as Mota...he had a breakout season last year, but if hes so great then why did it take him until he was thirty to figure that out. As far as Miller, hes only 19 or 20 and I absolutely do not trust the White Sox system to help groom him into a major league pitcher. Need I go into all the past failed Sox pitching prospects?

Its not happening. It was some people coming to a conclusion. Trying to put 2 and 2 together. This was never part of the deal and all speculation. Dodgers were rumored to be getting Magglio for pitching. They were rumored to be getting Nomar for pitching. they figure the White Sox would be the middle man and get Nomar and then ship him to LA for the pitching they wanted but couldnt get with a Magglio deal. Plus we would also get added pitching from the Red Sox with WIlliamson coming here. Like I said, all speculation with nothing to back it up.

Kenny Williams has basically told everyone around him that he never intended to send Nomar anywhere. He plans on keeping him and trading Jose for pitching or CF help.
