I posted on WSI (under ChiSox14303556) that on "The Score", update reporter George Offman made a quip that the Sox were trying to "pawn" Konerko on the Angels. I posted that I took offense to that comment and I got reamed by some of the posters over there because I simply said I was tired of all of the Chicago media bashing the Sox. Tell me: Am I making too much of this? Or is what I'm saying true? Or are just a couple of posters on WSI a bunch of tools? Thanks.

I think on the most part you are making too much of it. Essentially the Sox seem to be pawning him off to the best bidder if they get the shot. Although KW has denied this, the reports (maybe they flat out aren't true) lead you to believe the Sox just hope they can unload him.

 

I don't think of this as Cub bias or anything along those lines.

I doubt you were around in the summer of 2002 when the big WSI revolt took place. Myself and about 15 other posters either got banned or left the site for exposing the MODS there for being a bunch of controlling assholes. Myself, I posted a pic of a young daver posing with Adolph Hitler.

 

Dont worry about WSI. If you aren't willing to kiss the MODS ass and agree with everything that they and their lackeys say over there then you will be outcast/banned. Dont sweat it too much.
