THE SIU Saluki's downed MVC rival, Creighton Blue Jays IN NEBRASKA 61-60. Saluki's now are 18-2, and 12-0 in conference.

Big road win and we still play Creighton at the SIU Arena as well as possibly in the MVC tourney in St. Louis.

Go DAWGS!

Maybe they didnt need Bruce Weber to get them to the dance.... I hope Weber's tourney magic works for Illinois. Need a win tomorrow to stay in the race, especially since Wiscy lost today, and Mich St is coming to Champaign on Tuesday.

Go Illini!

The Saluki's are still pretty much Bruce Weber's team. The new coach had the same background as Bruce before getting the head job. Worked under Gene at Purdue and was Weber's assistant the last few years.

Bruce has his own system and it doesn't seem the Illini have adapted well. You can tell they are a different team than last year.

The Saluki's blast Drake in Carbondale tonight, 96-76. Moving the record to 19-2, 13-0 in the MVC. Wow! Never saw this coming.

Making the AP poll must have sparked them. I don't remember the last time they scored 90.
