February 12, 200422 yr Does anyone think that this will reflect on Bonds at all? The steroid scandal in MLB is a powderkeg just waiting to blow. I think not only Bonds, but many other players are going to feel some heat from this. I've read from many different places that this is going to be huge when it fully comes to light.

If the MLB got a 5-7% positive rate, after telling players this was coming AND not testing for the designer drugs, I would bet that the 30% figure quoted by Ken Caminitti years back isn't too far away from being true.

As you said, it's only a matter of time now.
February 12, 200422 yr We'll see how many Hr's Bonds hits this year when his body isn't full of steroids... Watching him when he played in Pitts... and today with the giants, he's disgustingly more big. Same for Sosa. I just hope that Cheater doesnt break Aaron's record.

Yes because his stats would be tainted ('specially the power numbers). While I would say that the 'roids had very little to do with his BA and OPS, they could have/would have a lot to do with the power numbers (HR, RBI, etc.).
