Sox on TV

Featured Replies

It appears that the White Sox and Yankee game on Thursday at Yankee Stadium at 1:00 PM EDT will be broadcast by ESPN. I believe that is their season opener in NY isn't it? Garland should pitch Thursday.

WGN broadcasts the Saturday game from NY at 1:00 PM EDT. Probably Danny Wright going for the Sox. I don't know who the Yankee startesr are. I am thinking Mussina pitches against Buerhle on Sunday. Mussina of 0-2 fame going against Tampa Bay this year. Hopefully we can take advantage of his early troubles.

Yes it is the Yank home opener, and I'm sure they'll be none to happy travelling halfway around the world for only a split at best -- Hopefully they'll still be jet lagged.

As for garland starting, I think I read on here that It may be Shoeny -- Don't know the reason for that -- I just know I saw that somewhere.

I believe Schoenweis is starting Thursday so the sox don't have two lefties in a row. Garland will pitch Friday, Buehrle on Saturday on a regular 4 days rest, and Wright moved back to Sunday for his first start of the year.

The marvelous YES! Network is broadcasting all four, so i'll get to see them all :headbang
