Intimidators Place Deininger on the Disabled List

The Kannapolis Intimidators placed right handed pitcher Todd Deininger on the 15 day disabled list retroactive to April 19th. Deininger, 22, was placed on the disabled list due to soreness in his shoulder.

 

He has pitched 2/3 of an inning out of the pen this season and has a 0.00 ERA. Last season Deininger was with Kannapolis where he pitched successfully out of the bullpen and starting rotation.

 

The Intimidators activated 3rd string catcher Cesar Castillo from the disabled list. Castillo, 24, played in 41 games for the Bristol White Sox last season. He batted .222 with 1 homer and 8 RBI.
