May 5, 200421 yr I don't believe since Adkins got bombed against Cleveland that he has even go into a game. It would be stupid for Ozzie to cut down his innings because of his bad outing. Losing confidence in the kid may hurt him this year and perhaps beyond. I would have used him yesterday when we were already out of the game to try and build some more confidence.

May 5, 200421 yr The only time Adkins could have been used since the D-H against Toronto was last night. I didn't follow the game last night, so I can't comment on why he was not used.

He has pitched, and he's not that good. His slider needs a lot of work and all he has going for him is his fastball. Changeup doesn't look took bad either.
