May 10, 200421 yr Enemencio Pacheco Placed on the Disabled List By Jason Gage May 9, 2004 FutureSox.com The Charlotte Knights placed right handed pitcher Enemencio Pacheco on the 15 day disabled list with a sore shoulder on Monday. The move is made retroactive to May 9th. Pacheco hurt his shoulder in Saturdays start against the Louisville Bats. Pacheco pitched just .2 innings in what was his first start of the season. He gave up 4 hits and 4 earned runs in the start, before leaving with soreness in his shoulder. He was 0-1 with a 6.35 ERA in six games this season. Last season, Pacheco went 12-2 with a 2.56 ERA in 30 games (24 starts) for the Birmingham Barons. Pacheco will be replaced on the active roster by Kelly Wunsch, who was activated from the disabled list by the Chicago White Sox and then optioned to Charlotte. Wunsch pitched in nine games with the Knights already on a rehab assignment. He was 0-0 with a 4.26 ERA in 6.1 innings of work.
