May 12, 200421 yr THE US trade deficit bulged to a record $US46 billion ($66.17 billion) in March, far bigger than predicted by analysts, government data showed today. The gap in trade of goods and services with the rest of the world grew to US$46 billion from $US42.1 billion ($60.56 billion) in February, the Commerce Department said.
