May 14, 200421 yr Whats the situation on resigning maggs to some more years? Also how much money will it take to keep him around here? -Situation is simple; there are two options. Option #1.) Resign Maggs for long term Likely Option #2.) Let Maggs go and call Reed up. Also if we were to re-sign him, he would want about 5 years, 65 million dollars total with a handsome signing bonus.

Also if we were to re-sign him, he would want about 5 years, 65 million dollars total with a handsome signing bonus. Reed won't play RF unless we get another power bat in the lineup to compensate for him...RF is a power position and Reed will likely end up in CF or if we can be freed of Carlos, LF.
