NUKE_CLEVELAND
For once it was us making the Twinkies pay for mistakes, like that matador job their 3d baseman did to open the floodgates in that 6 run innings. Paulie with 2 infield hits & two bombs. Thomas with 4 hits including a 3 run bomb. Loaiza with a solid outing to pick up the win. Great night to say the least. Now, lets get MB some runs tomorrow. witesoxfan
And to think that Konerko damn near had 3 homers too. His first at-bat against Mulholland, he hit a ball and right away I thought it was gone. Came up just short and it was WTP into Ford's glove. He seems to be swinging a better bat as of late, and if he can get it going, that could very well mean more fastballs for Jose, and he is one of the best, if not the best, fastball hitting player on the Sox. He just can't hit a curveball. He and Pedro Cerrano need to sit down and talk about their struggles with hitting curve balls.
Queen Prawn
Paulie with 2 infield hits & two bombs. And listening to Hawk joke about it was great too! They have started well, let's hope they finish well! 3 games to go and hopefully a good finish to this series.

"He is 2-3 with two infield hits...... (crack of the bat).... And that is an outfield hit."

And that is an outfield hit." The only reason for watching the Twins broadcast is Bremer and Blyleven's wit, especially Bremer. They're both homers, but now and then Bremer will have some smart-ass thing to say like that. I assume it was Bremer that called Konerko's first homer an OF hit, and then Bremer also called Thomas's homer...I mentioned it somewhere else, but from what I remember, it was something like... Bert Blyleven:"And on 2-0, Greisinger has to be careful not to throw a pitch up, because Frank Thomas likes to extend those arms. He's probably looking to do that right here and hit it a long ways." (crack of bat) Dick Bremer: "And that one got hit a long ways." And I'll still never forget Thomas's walk-off against the Twins last year(I know, I've brought it up like 10 times, oh well, deal with it). Bremer started talking, but the crowd noise just muted him, and you couldn't hardly hear a word he said.
BridgeportHeather
So, now we've outscored Minnesota by 13 in the past 2 games...If we can continue this the next couple of games, we could very well put the Twins on a tailspin that they won't be able to recover from! The Twins must be scratching their heads right now not knowing what hit them! They seem so out of it that it appears as if they won't even be able to compete with some of the worst teams in the league. A hot streak for us and a cool streak for them is just what the doctor ordered. The South Side Hitmen are back!!!

Lets not brag too much because right now their roster resembles a hospital ward with several of their star players on the shelf. Lets enjoy beating them up while they're hurt cause they're gonna be looking for payback when they're healthy.
YASNY
Let's just bury these guys as deep as we possibly can. They have shown a resiliency in the past.
