my god, these rangeless, stone-handed, wrong-way-breaking f***s who can't even apply a tag in a rundown just gave the Cubs a win.

:fyou :puke

Ya, that rundown was wicked gay. There's no excuse for screwing up a rundown, EVER.

They're still the same crappy Pirates

Blowrowski and Billy Bob give up the lead.

Mesa coming in to try to close it out.

It's not just that, although that led to a then-GW run.

It's Tyke Redman turning TWO singles into doubles (although he also had a nice play). It's Castillo mis-timing a dive and letting the ball go into outfield that scored a then-GW run in the 8th. It's Craig Wilson turning a line-out into a double. Jack Wilson error. Ward letting the pop-up fall in for a "double". Makowiak mistiming a dive and giving Barrert another "double". Stuff like that.

Fortunately, Joe Koch-Borowski proved once again that if you have NO velocity, NO location and are giving up a lot of rocket line-drives, sooner or later, they're gonna start falling. Moises Alou saved his ass big-time by saving a double with a stretch dive, but then Pirates just T-d on him.

Nobody has monopoly on luck in this game especially. :headbang :fthecubs :usa
