February 26, 200323 yr I know there a bunch of you here. I've got a question for you....I'm going down there Friday and I want to listen to the Sox spring training game. Do you get ESPN 1000?
February 26, 200323 yr You can get it pretty good, especially in a car. Who else on this board goes to school down here? Nice thrashing of IU last night, thorougly enjoyed by me in the Orange Krush.
February 26, 200323 yr I live in Bloomington which is pretty close. I can get it during the day fine but reception sucks at night. Not sure if it is better in Champaign but I doubt it because I think they reduce the power of the transmission at night.
February 26, 200323 yr The Score comes in as clear as a bell, espn 1000 is a lot more fuzzy, but still workable, i checked it right now again and it's fine if you can deal with some static.
February 26, 200323 yr I too am in central IL, near bjmarte, I'm in Normal, attending ISU, and I get fuzzy reception of AM 1000; however The Score comes in loud and clear here.
February 27, 200323 yr Good thing we get the score for all our blackhawks hockey needs featuring Mike North, "mr. hockey"
February 27, 200323 yr Good thing we get the score for all our blackhawks hockey needs featuring Mike North, "mr. hockey" LOL! Funny thing about him on the Brian Sutter show tonight...He admitted he is NOT a hockey guy! Really, Pappy? All this time, I thought you were the EXPERT!

No they just dont transmit has far has night. it has nothing to do with the station.
