February 28, 200323 yr 2B Willie Harris LF Armando Rios 1B Frank Thomas RF Magglio Ordonez CF Joe Borchard 3B Joe Crede C Miguel Olivo SS Jorge Nunez P Danny Wright Here's the whole article.
February 28, 200323 yr I think Harris is the guy to watch here, he is the only guy that is playing for his job--you could argue that Olivo is fighting for his job, but he will get the job as long as he isn't 0 for Spring Training
February 28, 200323 yr Outside shot of Borchard fighting for a roster spot...doubtful, but if he absolutely lights it up in the spring, i don't think you can send him down.
February 28, 200323 yr Does anyone think that Rios could be on the bubble as well? With the acquisition of Daubach the Sox won't take 5 outfielders will they? In my opinion I'd like to see Rios left off the roster. CWSOX45
February 28, 200323 yr CW45.....I'm also looking for that. Watch for either a trade, him to be put on waivers and then sent to the minors or him given his outright release altogether. I'm personally looking at the second one....and then if Daubach, Konerko, Maggs or Lee goes down for an extended period of time, look for Rios to come up. If Rios is gone....I'd look for Borchard to come up in that situation. I am seeing a bench of Daubach, Alomar, Graffy, Harris and then the most versatile guy that is in ST....a guy that can play almost all infield positions and almost all outfield positions....like a Denny Hocking type. If Josh Paul or Jamie Burke can be like that....then we will have our guy....especially since they can play catcher. Also....CW45....welcome aboard. This board kicks ass(and yes, you can use those types of words....no damn censor like stupid ass MLB boards....you can't say hell anymore...that pisses me off)!!!
