Is it a slump we are in or does Cleveland have a better team

than our Sox?

I find it difficult to believe Cleveland and Minnie have better players

than our Sox, but it is possible.

 

 

We're creeping mighty close to .500. Is it safe to say we are a pretty

s***ty team minus Maggs??

Cleveland is a pretty damn good team, and will be much, much more dangerous next year. They are scary-good.

 

We're just playing like s*** now. If Maggs is the glue that holds us together, then he can't get back soon enough. Personally, I think the glue that holds us together has been missing all year - that being a 5-man rotation. Another reliever or 3 wouldn't hurt either.

Cleveland will lose 87-90 games this year. They are not good. But for now, they're punshing all the mistakes. The key? Pitch like Loaiza did in first 4 innigs, and you'll see how ineffective they can be.

 

The great Ronnie Belliard was hitting 250 in the last month a half, with 1 HR. He hit 3 in the last 3 games against us. Way out of the ballpark. Go figure.

I think it is a combo of the Sox slumping and the Indians being hot right now.

And Sabathia is just flat out good.

 

So every game he starts Cleveland has a legitimate shot of winning.

 

Therefore we had 2 games, we lost 1, won 1.

 

Its really nice to have a guy you can count on to go out there and shut the door on any offense.
