Ok, so after a nice walkoff home run by Valentin in the 2nd game of this series, some of us might have figured that the momentum swung our way. Well, it didn't. And the Indians won the next game.

 

However, since we finally got our first win out of our 5th starter spot, do you think these guys are feeling good vibes now for the Cubs series?

At the game, it really looked like the team was gelling. The all greeted Rowand at the dugout...twice. And most of them met Rauch as he walked off the field. Let's hope they can come together and take the Cubs series, or even better, sweep the hell out of them.

Momentum would do wonders right now as our pitching isn't clicking too well, some momentum would give us a huge boost because our pitchers will feel more comfortable and confident in each other. I will tell you this much, heading into this important series with the Cubs while in the playoff hunt means a lot. If the sox get rolling there's no telling how good they can be if everything starts clicking.

Today was very important. It would have been even better if the Twins lost, but today was still a big win. The Cubs as most of you know lost to, so there kinda in the dumps right now I would think after losing 2 of 3 to the Cards. Sox should come out with some fire tommorw.

That's unbelievably huge, since they were chewing up and spitting out all the other teams.

It's amazing what a win can do. I just felt like the season was going to hell, and was losing optimism. Nothing's changed in the standings, but you just feel a hell of a lot better about what's going on after you see Rauch break the 5th starter 0-for streak.
