In another, more radical change, FSN will hold auditions next week looking for a Sox fan to be a part of a new broadcast team that will provide a secondary audio program (SAP) during Sox games. The fan will team up with Eric Collins, who will handle the play-by-play.

 

That sounds like a bad idea to me -- the last thing I want to hear is a commentary right out of a sports bar -- but interested fans can attend the auditions Monday and Tuesday at the FSN Studios, 350 N. Orleans, only after registering at fsnchicago.com.

I'd do it, if I lived in Chicago.
