Prince cancels show

Featured Replies

My wife and sister-in-law went to see Prince on Saturday night, but were turned away at the parking lot. They were told that the show was cancelled, but no one said why. Couldn't have been because of low ticket sales - the show was sold out, as are the other 4 scheduled shows. Someone said they saw ambulances and fire engines at the Arena, but there usually are a few of those there anyway, in case of emergency.

Anyone hear anything?

Postponed due to death in family of NPG Drummer John Blackwell

Due to a death in the family of NPG drummer John Blackwell, the Prince shows scheduled for this week in Chicago have been rescheduled.

The show scheduled for June 28 will now play on July 22.

The June 29 show will play on July 23, and the June 30 show will play on July 24.

The Prince show that was scheduled for June 26 will play on Aug. 3rd, as previously announced.

Tickets for this weeks Prince shows will be honored on their rescheduled dates in July.

Those who are unable to attend rescheduled dates will have refunds issued at the point of purchase.
