The Lost Weekend

This one is gonna sting for the next couple of days, but at least we still have a share of 1st, Mags will be back soon, & both our DH & 1st baseman can play at the same time. Hats off to Mark on a superb outing, and as for Shingo, he had to lose one sooner or later. Glad it happened now and not in late September. Don't worry Mr Zero. You're still the man to go to in the 9th.

For all Sox fans, hold your heads up high. The media and the Cub fans will try to make life miserable, but we'll get through it. Maybe this could be the start of something really, really good for us over the next 4 months. Gotta keep the faith!

As my dad told me before, the Cubs can't let anybody down without building them up first.

Line of the week!

You’re absolutely right about the media. I’m calling my morning newspaper telling them I want to cancel for tomorrow’s paper since the front page is sure to be full of Cubs. I am also cutting my cable wire to avoid all the Cub fans bashing us and I won’t listen to the radio or anything else involving news or sports.
