The Chicago White Sox activated LHP Scott Schoeneweis on Wednesday. Scott is scheduled to start in tonights game against his former team, the Anaheim Angels. To make room for Scott, the White Sox optioned Jon Rauch back to Charlotte.

 

Rauch made one start in his most recent callup and beat the Cleveland Indians. Rauch wnet 5 innings, giving up one run on 6 hits. Rauch then moved to the bullpen when the Sox acquired Freddy Garcia, but did not appear in a game out of the pen.

 

He has pitched very well as of late for the Knights, where he is 6-2, with a 2.30 ERA in 13 games (12 starts). He has given up just 49 hits in 70.1 innings of work while striking out 60.
