July 9, 200421 yr Author I am not responsible for opinions I post during games. (I think I will add this to my sig.) go back and read the game thread title - and look who started the game thread - and see when the game thread was started - and what it says under my avatar -- the fix was in on this game last night

July 9, 200421 yr Bulls***, you crap-eating weasel you. Any moron could look up team ERA. That was never in question - Barry Zito had an ERA of 6.00 at one time and Matt Ginter - 2.50. I guess by your logic Ginter was better than Zito, eh? What was in question, however, is CUBS' superior rotation - since at the time Freddy Garcia hadn't been acquired yet, we were basically comparing Loaiza-Buerhle-Garland-Show-Diaz to.....Prior-Wood-Zambrano-Clement-Maddux. Gee...which starting 5 is "better".....? bump
July 9, 200421 yr I know you speak fluent German, do you like Wings of Desire? I speak no German, fluent or otherwise, and this wasn't asked of me, but... I liked Wings of desire very much when I saw it. I actually liked the sequel, Faraway, So Close!, even better and I'm not sure why (does that make me a bad person?). Maybe it was Natassja, Lou Reed, deFoe and Gorby. Never saw the American monygrabber remake (City of Angels?) but I'm sure it didn't hold a candle to either of the Wim Wenders originals.
July 9, 200421 yr This game kicked so much ass. I just got home from it. It had it all. The Carlos HR, the all-star pitcher, and a great back and forth game. I was so down, and worried after seeing the Angels keep piling them on. That place erupted when we tied the game up in the 5th, and in the 8th. All 27,845 went INSANE after that Uribe hit; damn that was so much fun. I didn't know Mags was activated; I don't think anyone knew in the park with the early start. It was cool though; I saw him running around and taking BP today. It's great to get some life back into this team with a win like this and getting Mags back. This is our 43rd win, and 26 of them have been come from behind victories!
July 9, 200421 yr I didn't know Mags was activated I only knew because they briefly showed it on the CF scoreboard. That was the best game I have been to this year! I was shocked by the crowd, I expected like 18,000.
