What Sox player has performed

This can be for either this year or of years past.

My choice was Buerhle. When I first saw the guy pitch in 2000 out of the 'pen, I didn't think he was gonna be anything more than a middle reliever, and it always looked like he got hit hard with every appearance. By the end of 2001, talk about doing a 180. Now, with all the pitching prospects the Sox had that year (Kip Wells, Garland, Fogg, Parque, Biddle) I wouldn't take any of them over Buerhle. I'm just hoping the same will happen with Neal Cotts. Maybe 2005 will work for Cotts the way 2001 did for Buerhle. Guess we'll wait and see.

Joe Crede has not lived up to expectations. But I still think he will.
