Great article by Mike Doyle. Thanks. I though Schnurstein would have been ticketed for K-Town. Where is he headed?

What round was Jeremy Reed drafted?

What round was Jeremy Reed drafted?

2nd round. The guy is one of the better atheltes in the Sox system, at least when it comes to position players. He's on the fast track to the majors. He could really shoot through the system if he builds on what he did last year.

Reed is one of my favorites, because he's a college guy that should be ready in two years. He could be there at the start of next season, but that would involve some serious crushing of the ball and the Sox rushing him.

I see him and Borchard as the future replacements when the Sox lose Thomas and potentially Lee (I think lee will be back the next year, after that who knows). Still, its kind of hard to predict the future, so I try to go one year at a time. This year is going to be great!!! :headbang

Thanks for the info. That wasn't mentioned in the article and when he siad most scouts had Reed pegged as 3rd or 4th rounder, I wondered where we drafted him.
