It is true Steff..... those that fail or refuse to see the link between the two are naive..... to put it lightly. Bin Laden warned of such a "partnership" before the US went to War with Iraq. Once the US Military moves into Baghdad..... as they say..... the truth will set us (you) free. It is at that time the US and Britain will have the proof that Iraq never intended to destroy their WoMD and the links to Al Queda will be made public. I'm almost certain that links to Al Queda will be found, for example, in Hussein's Republican Guard..... and that's just for starters. Saddam has allowed Al Queda members to use Iraqi hospitals for surgery and rehab and such. This much we know already to be true.

The British government has been nailed lying before (their plagiarized dossier used by Powell) in order to try to get public support for this war. Why is this story any different? They've lied so much and tried so much to legitimize this war and they can't.

 

I have a hard time believing the governments especially when our own intelligence says that there is no direct link.

And Hussan and the Bin Laden camps haven't lied? I see your side Apu.. but c'mon. Is it that far of a stretch to think that they AREN'T tied somehow?

Granted the CIA has said a lot of things that are evil before...but if they say that they can't find a tie, I am pretty eager to believe them because this is a rare time when they may be actually telling the truth.
