March 30, 200323 yr and all the experts who cried that Arizona would meet Kentucky in the semi final rather than final - so much for experts - neither team even made it to the Final 4 - way to go lower seeds and show up the experts again!

Hindsight is 20/20 Regardless of what happened after the games were played, the committee did indeed screw up putting Arz and Kent on the same side of the bracket. Clearly, they were the two top teams going into the tournament, and should not have been on the same side of the bracket, doesn't matter what actually happened.
March 31, 200323 yr They also screwed OK by putting them in for a "home" game against Cuse to go to the final 4!

TX was also a #1 seed. OU got the shaft being a #1 seed playing a road game to a #3 seed. If anyone deserved the advantage it is the #1 seed.

There are so many factors involved and your opinion on who are "clearly" the" top 2 teams" is your opinion, but wasn't mine or evidently not the selection committees opinion. Arizona lost to a weak UCLA team so that removes them from a "clearly" to me. And you have to play and win games. Kentucky got blown away and Arizona lost now what, 2 of its last 5 games? It is a great tournament and I just don't see the screw ups that you do. The proof was in who has won. Neither made it.
